A.      What is it?
       A system for preparing learners for success using intentional daydreaming


B.      Who should participate?
       Anyone interested and willing to improve their test taking and study skills ability


C.      How does the system work?
        Learners participate by sitting and listening to pre-written scripts at regular intervals over a condensed period of
        time:  3 days per week, 3 weeks in a row, using 3 different scripts.


D.      How do we know if it works?
        Session administrators agree to submit sample grades from before and after the sessions as well as comments.
        Learners agree to submit short written evaluations of the system including comments and perceived learning skills
        changes.

Intentional Daydreaming Program

Instructions:
1.        Explain concept and procedures to all participants and get agreement to participate willingly.
2.        Dates and times set
3.        Agreement and waiver signed
4.        Allow 20 minutes for the sessions
    a.        Greetings   -  Sign-in sheet
    b.        Session administrator reads or plays recording of script – allow 7 minutes
    c.        5 minutes to discuss and /or get to homeroom /class or home
    Note:  Script  #1 to be used all three days of first week, Script  #2 to be used all three days of second week,  Script  
    #3 to be used all three days of third week.
5.        Sign-in sheet signed by session administrator with daily comments
6.        At end of last session evaluation cards given out to participants.
7.        Upon completion each participant gets the incentive gift for participating
8.        Session administrator provides pre and past grades as agree upon with evaluation of the system and comments.

Get into a comfortable position and just listen, easily, following my instructions and begin to feel
as if you are floating…. or just sitting there… is all you have to do

This whole process will take you only 7 minutes today, and you do have 7 minutes for yourself
today, do you not?

With your eyes open
Take in a deep full breath and hold it, hold it, hold it…

Now, exhale and allow your eyes to close down now.

Feel your shoulders drooping down… and your body settling into this very pleasant, healthful
experience.

Continue to breathe easily... and begin… to imagine, that you can imagine…

That you are someplace else… any place that’s pleasant and peaceful for you… will do… just fine.

Just let yourself be there for a while and notice the air around you, the smells, and the sounds,
and how you are feeling… very confident… that you have come to the right place… this place can
change day to day… and it should

As you allow yourself to learn that… you are doing perfectly… wherever you are, now.

Learning can be confusing at first, but you will notice how, what it is you are learning becomes
clearer and clearer still, as you give yourself permission to accept the learning… become focused
and centered.  Just like exercising your body.  You are exercising yourself for success as you
notice how successfully you are able to listen and learn today, easily, with no extra effort at all,
and, what once was confusing becomes clear and clearer still… understand.

Somehow, you find the way… best for you, as you continue on your path today… and the next… it
all becomes clear and clearer still… you find, you are able to learn easily now.

Find yourself in your pleasant place for a while learning what it is you need to know… and listen.  
(pause  15 sec)

When you feel that seven minutes has elapsed since beginning this process today… enjoy a
sensation of vibrant energy, alerts you to allow your eyes to open and carry on your confident
learning tasks of today… clearly…  wait until then….   you are learning.

Remember this takes only 7 minutes… and you do have 7 minutes to enjoy yourself today,
do you not?

Get yourself into a comfortable position… completely in control… and just listen… really listen…
easily… follow my instructions as you resist the idea to resist and let yourself begin to continue to
breathe and learn to learn easily… curious what it is… that you are doing… and that’s fine… just
let any doubts leave your mind for a while you are listening.

With your eyes open or not… take in a deep full breath and hold it, hold it, hold it… Now exhale…
eyes close… ready to continue to breathe in learning to learn easily.

Where you go from here is completely up to you as you find yourself taking an intentional
daydream… and you know how to daydream, do you not?  Find yourself taking an intentional
daydream… to enjoy… perhaps a video game,  or sports event, or just walking… thinking…
learning to learn and play… anywhere that’s pleasant and peaceful for you… will do… just fine.   
Just sit and think and be there for a while, listening… as you are listening… that’s right.

Very comfortable… you are… beginning to enjoy… listening… and learning… and reading… and
writing… filing… and typing… figuring… out… what it is you need to feel… this time… is yours…
enjoyable… very enjoyable… in any way that’s right for you… know what you are thinking… you
can listen… easily… can you not?… carry out your assignments…today… easily… reading…
writing… and recall… what you are filing inside… and figuring… out… inside… on screen or in
your mind… on paper… flowing naturally occurs to you easily… and you enjoy it more so every
day… dream of a time… like now… when it has become easier and easier to just let it happen… on
purpose… like a video game, or sports event, walking… a game to play… with no extra effort… for
you… know how much effort you have… to put into it… and now you can do it easily… playing…
with no extra effort… very pleasant… notice the words… and the way they come together… with
no extra… effort… listening… and on paper, and on screen assignments flow easily…
effortlessly… whether you are writing or reading or just figuring… out there in your… day…
dream… smiling… on purpose… you know how much effort… you can… and have… to put in…
side and out… smiling… breathing… as you are learning… on purpose… as you find you can recall
information easily stored in files perfectly ready… and waiting there for you to recall… the
research… is in… there… building connections inside and out… it feels so good to just recall
what it is you need to know… on purpose… when you are asked and feel compelled to answer
correctly… smiling… is a reaction to feeling… and it can also be used… on purpose… to bring up
the answer… smile… when you are asked and feel compelled to answer correctly… inside and out
there for a while you are learning to… recall… a time…now… you can see it, feel it, listen… even
smell and taste… it comes easier and easier as you make the connections now…come easier and
easier… stay a while learning and listen for your assignment is to do it now… easily.   (pause)

Remember it takes only 7 minutes… and you do have 7 minutes to breathe in learning today and
the next… easily from the tip of your nose… do you not?

Go ahead of me and become comfortable breathing, completely in control… and just listen for a
while daydreaming what it is you need to enjoy preparing for a test… yourself… and study,
smiling… you are breathing in learning to learn… now… allow your eyes to close… and continue
breathing… eyes closed… notice how comfortable you can become as you allow any concerns of
the day to leave you for a while you are about to get going… and enjoy preparing… to receive the
answers you need and want to know… how you report them back as your daydream begins… fill in
the blanks…

First, imagine you can imagine receiving back your graded exam… feel it in your hands… the
pride… looks great… and smile at the results… just smile at how well you have done and how well
you are doing… A?... as you have only started to receive the benefits your time and effort have
provided well for you… imagine the future… smile at how well you have done and how well you
are doing… as your choices are doing all the work for you… you put in the initial effort and enjoy
how well you are doing… A… story comes to mind that lets you know that as you put in the initial
effort and enjoy the assignments… reading, writing, absorbing… you understand what needs to
be done easily… and the answers come to you as needed to fill in the blanks… the correct
answers feel so good to provide… you with… A… answer that fits perfectly… well done… Notice
how… before taking… the test you were able to think of the tip of your nose and recall the
answers… come to you… do it now… practice, enjoy breathing and continue to notice the tip of
your nose and breathing and the confident feelings you have… focused… ask a question and the
correct answer comes up more often than ever before… as you touch the table, ground yourself
and feel your writing utensil, or the keyboard and think of the tip of your nose… it all comes
together now, for you know you have put in the effort and now is the time you recall and let it all
flow… you let it all come together and flow through you easily and comfortably.  Read the question
and the correct answer comes up more often than ever before… As you enjoy this process and
feeling of accomplishment and pride in your self assured attention… you are breathing in learning
from the tip of your nose… you practice using the tools you bring with you… breathing… the tools
you bring to the table… your hand grounding you, touch the desk or table top… the comfortable
feel of your writing utensil or the keyboard… and you are breathing in pride and confidence in
your ability to recall… you have the answers and what it is you need to know… comes to you
easily… centered… just breathe in now… confident and focus your attention on the process… as
you intend to continue breathing and let the answers come to you now more easily…and flow… as
you can expect it to happen and enjoy all the benefits… you are worthy of… A… grade to smile
about… and your breathing from the tip of your nose makes all the difference.  

When you feel that seven minutes has elapsed since beginning this session today… enjoy a
sensation of vibrant energy, alerts you to allow your eyes to open and carry on your confident
learning tasks of today… clearly… wait until then… you have no doubt… you have purpose…
smile… you are listening… and learning to learn… you are worthy of… A… grade to smile about…
now… confident in your ability to smile… and receive… A… your worthy grade.
