Art-Hypnosis Hypnosis-Art
Artist: George Guarino, CH
Mission Statement:  To explore the relationship between the viewer, the gallery space and the use of a piece of art as a
focal point for self-confidence, insight and growth. My canvas is the space between the viewer and the piece of art.  I
intend to produce works that suggest and condition the viewer to go inside themselves through art and find their own
ability to use this experience for future discovery and growth.

To be really good at hypnosis, simply follow my instructions to have a meaningful experience and feel good.

Pick a Point in a Picture
Digital Collage Artwork by George Guarino
Uncommon Grounds, 1235 Western Ave., Albany, NY
June 2013
This is about YOU, the viewer, the one who is on the other side now.
For this process to move forward I need you.

In order to clarify, intensify and hone this new way of experiencing artworks, it is very
important that I get your feedback, comments and suggestions.

You are an integral part of the process.  Whatever you have experienced is important.   We
need to know what has happened.  Through this experience you have changed because it is
impossible to remain the same.

Post your comments now and then come back in a week or two and report again.

Thank you.  George Guarino, CH
You have been invited here because you have
experienced Art-Hypnosis Hypnosis-Art (AH-HA)
somewhere.
Please let me know what you think and what has
happened since your experience.

I'm pleased to announce that
Albany's Uncommon Grounds
will be showing over thirty Mind
Model digital collage pieces
throughout  the month of June
2013, opening May 24.

As
Uncommon Grounds does
not allow a formal opening, I
plan to be there Friday, May 24
and again Friday, June 28 from
7-9pm to informally discuss my
work.

I welcome you to join me or
come anytime in June and sit
with a piece for a while.
Uncommon Grounds is the
perfect venue for viewers to come and enjoy outstanding coffee, food and conversation while
getting up close to the art and have an inside conversation. Think of each piece as an individual
mind, a stranger that you're connecting with who is there to help you discover something about this
moment, and perhaps something interesting about yourself.  Be curious, be open, and most
importantly be present to discover what it is that you've come for.

Follow my instructions to get
the most out of your time with
my work.  1. Pick a picture
you connect with and then
pick a point inside that picture
to focus upon.  Really focus
on that point until your eyes
want to close but don't let
them.  2. Now, take in a slow
deep breath and hold it for the
count of three, then exhale
and allow your eyes to close
as you remember that point.
3. Use the memory of that
point as a doorway inside as
you continue breathing and
feel good, learning whatever it
is you are learning for a
while.
Plan to be in this state for
about three minute.  When
you feel ready, allow your
eyes to open... and feel good.
Repeat the process several
times.

Conscious Mind to the left (plans, lists, decisions), Subconscious
